Petaluma, CA – Three people were injured after a rollover collision involving a DUI suspect that happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 101 in Petaluma.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident transpired on June 6, 2026, north of Washington Street.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 19-year-old Petaluma woman was driving a GMC Arcadia at a high rate of speed when she struck a big rig, lost control, and collided with another car. The GMC then rolled over several times.
The Petaluma woman and a passenger in the GMC were ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported a male passenger to the hospital in critical condition. A 15-year-old boy passenger was treated and released from the hospital.
Police officers arrested the Petaluma woman on suspicion of driving under the influence.
All southbound lanes of Highway 101 were closed following the crash…
The crash is under investigation by the CHP Santa Rosa Area Office.
