Sacramento, CA – The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car Monday morning at an intersection in Sacramento.
31-year-old Trevon Hayes died in the collision that happened around 10:30 a.m., May 11, in the area of Northgate Boulevard and Bridgeford Drive.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, a motorcycle and a car were involved in the crash.
The rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Hayes later died from his injuries Monday night.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with investigators. Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be contributing factors.

Sacramento, CA – A motorcyclist was severely injured after colliding with a car Monday morning at Northgate Boulevard and Bridgeford Drive in Sacramento, authorities reported.
Sacramento Police Department officers responded to the intersection after they were notified about the collision around 10:30 a.m. on May 11 and located a motorcycle and a car at the scene.
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident. The patient was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The car driver remained at the scene.
Investigators do not believe DUI was a contributing factor.
The intersection was closed for an unknown period while officers investigated.
