Sacramento, CA. – Brian Kipton Shaw, 42, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision that left four other people with serious injuries in Sacramento on Sunday morning.

The deadly collision happened around 8:45 a.m. on Highway 50 east of Highway 99, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A vehicle reportedly crashed into a group of 13 motorcyclists in unclear circumstances.

Shaw, a resident of Paradise, was killed in the crash, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

Four other people suffered major injuries in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
