Sacramento, CA. – A motorcyclist died after hitting a tree Tuesday evening at an intersection in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to CHP, a solo motorcycle struck a tree under unclear circumstances.
The rider was found unresponsive by first responders.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sacramento County coroner responded following the fatal collision.
