Police said the fatal crash occurred just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Baseline Road and Canyon Creek Drive, and involved a BMW and a white van.

Roseville, CA – A man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Baseline Road in Roseville Sunday night has been identified.
The Placer County coroner identified the deceased man as 47-year-old George Habeeb.
Police said the fatal crash occurred just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Baseline Road and Canyon Creek Drive, and involved a BMW and a white van.
Investigators said a BMW was traveling westbound on Baseline Road when the white van turned onto the roadway from Canyon Creek Drive and the two vehicles collided.
Habeeb, who was operating the van at the time of the crash, died in the incident.
Information regarding additional injuries was not immediately released.
Roseville Police stated that the driver of the BMW remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities added that alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the collision.
The intersection remained under investigation for several hours Sunday night as officers worked to determine the circumstances that led up to the crash.
