Littlerock, CA – Byron Herrera Lorenzana Among 4 Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident at 77th Street E and Mt Emma Road

According to preliminary reports, an Infiniti G35 sedan was traveling eastbound on Mt. Emma Road when it drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a westbound white Honda Pilot SUV. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage as a result of the collision.

Littlerock, CA – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a driver who was among four people who died after a vehicle he was driving collided with another in Littlerock on Friday evening.

Byron Herrera Lorenzana, 23, was killed in the head-on crash that happened at about 6:39 p.m. on May 8, near 77th Street E and Mt Emma Road, south of the Pearblossom Highway.

According to preliminary reports, an Infiniti G35 sedan was traveling eastbound on Mt. Emma Road when it drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a westbound white Honda Pilot SUV. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage as a result of the collision.

The California Highway Patrol and crews with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision.

The driver of the Infiniti, identified as Lorenzana, and a passenger in the same vehicle were both pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities reported that the two were not wearing their seatbelts.

Two other people, the driver and the passenger of the Honda Piklot, were transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster, where they later died.

More details about the accident have not yet been released. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate to establish the exact cause of the collision.
