Montecito, CA – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 in Montecito Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.
The incident was reported around 3 p.m. on May 2, 2026, on northbound Highway 101 between Sheffield Drive and San Ysidro Road.
Investigators said a white Toyota Camry, a gray Honda Civic, and a silver Ford truck were involved in the wreck. The circumstances leading up to the collision were not immediately determined.
Authorities said three individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment. No arrests were reported.
Emergency responders from the Montecito Fire Protection District, Santa Barbara City Fire Department, and the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and assisted those involved.
The crash temporarily shut down the northbound lanes of Highway 101, causing traffic delays that extended through Summerland before lanes were reopened.
