Gaviota, CA. — Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 101 just south of Gaviota State Beach, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The truck came to rest about 150 feet off the roadway with two male occupants trapped inside, fire officials said.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to free both occupants, a process that took roughly 15 minutes.
One man sustained moderate injuries, while the other suffered minor injuries.
Both were transported by American Medical Response ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Their identities and condition were not immediately available.
A dog inside the vehicle was not injured.
One southbound lane of Highway 101 was temporarily closed as emergency crews worked at the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
