Palmdale, CA – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon on State Route 14 in Palmdale, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to authorities, the crash transpired around 1:16 p.m. on northbound SR-14 at Pearblosom Highway.
About three vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles ended up in the park-and-ride parking lot nearby.
A driver and a juvenile in one of the cars were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
One of the drivers had possibly been drinking prior to the collision.
About 20 feet of chain-link fence at the park-and-ride were destroyed in the crash.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
