Oakland, CA. – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car in Oakland early Friday Saturday morning.
The collision happened around 2 a.m. on Hawthorne Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The man suffered head and leg injuries and was taken to Summit before being transferred to Highland Hospital in stable condition.
