Los Banos, CA – A pedestrian died after being struck by two vehicles early Tuesday morning in Los Banos.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the incident was reported around 3 a.m., April 14, on westbound Highway 152, just east of Billy Wright Road.
The driver of a silver Hyundai SUV called authorities, reporting that they had hit a pedestrian. The victim was also struck by a second car while lying in the roadway.
Los Banos police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:10 a.m. The Merced County Sheriff-Coroner responded to the scene following the fatality.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
