The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene
Fresno, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in southwest Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1 a.m. on Highway 41 south of Jensen Avenue.
A Hyundai Tucson driven by an 83-year-old was traveling south on the freeway when it struck by a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
