Canyon Country, CA – At least one pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle on Monday afternoon in Canyon Country, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

At around 3:17 p.m. May 18, firefighters were called to the scene of an auto-pedestrian collision in the 16600 block of Lost Canyon Road.

Authorities reported that a vehicle struck two people, including a child in the area. The exact circumstances under which the pedestrians were struck were yet to be determined.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and attended to the involved patients.

The two victims were transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries sustained in the collision were not immediately available.
