Los Angeles, CA – 42-year-old Marcus Edmonds died after he was struck by at least one vehicle early Thursday morning in Hollywood, the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner reported.

The collision transpired around 12:42 a.m., April 9, on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway at the Gower Street on-ramp after they were notified about the crash.

California Highway Patrol officers and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and found Edmonds lying in the No. 4 lane.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Los Angeles, CA – A man died after he was struck by at least one car early Thursday morning in Hollywood, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred around 12:42 a.m. on April 9 in the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway near the Gower Street on-ramp.

CHP officers responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying in the No. 4 lane.

The victim, only identified as a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending positive identification and family notification.
