Los Angeles, CA – One person died, and two others were hospitalized in critical condition after a traffic collision that happened Saturday night in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided in the 2523 block of East Anaheim Street near Cushing Avenue around 10:10 p.m. on March 28.
According to LAFD, two vehicles of an unknown make and model collided, causing one person to be ejected from their car and two others to be trapped.
One of the trapped victims was extricated and pronounced dead at the scene.
The person who was ejected, a 40-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The third person, a 35-year-old woman, was freed and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the collision, but an investigation is ongoing.
