Apple Valley, CA – Several people were hurt in a multiple vehicle crash that caused at least one car to roll over in Appe Valley on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, the incident took place on Central Road and Ramona Avenue at around 3:19 p.m.
Authorities reported that a white sedan, a white Jeep, and a gray Kia sedan were involved in the incident. The impact caused the Jeep to roll over multiple times.
According to reports by the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station, the accident may have occurred shortly after a brief pursuit between deputies and one of the involved drivers. The deputies had lost sight of the suspect but recognised one of the vehicles at the scene of the multi-car accident.
Ambulances were requested to transport three people to hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
There were no immediate reports of any arrests made at the scene of the collision.
Roads were shut down for an unspecified duration during the onscene investigations and cleanup of the debris scattered across the scene.
The incident remained under investigation and additional details are expected to be released.
