Battle Ground, WA – Two drivers were killed in a collision involving a suspected wrong-way motorist on Interstate 5 in Battle Ground on Monday morning.

Preliminary reports indicate that a driver was heading the wrong way on I-5 Northbound when they were involved in a crash with another vehicle. The circumstances that led up to the crash remained under investigation on Monday morning.
The Washington State Patrol troopers and emergency responders were called to the scene shortly after.
Both motorists were declared dead at the site of the collision but their identities were not available in the WSP report.

The crash led to the closure of all northbound lanes of I-5 and traffic was being diverted at 10th Avenue. All lanes were reopened at about 8 a.m.
