Polk County, FL – Two people were killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles near Polk City in Polk County on Sunday night, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 8 p.m. March 8, authorities responded to reports of a collision on Commonwealth Avenue North (State Road 33) near L A Combee Drive.
According to preliminary reports, at least two motorcycles were involved in a multi-vehicle collision in the area. The circumstances under which the vehicles crashed were not immediately available.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Polk County Fire Rescue crews immediately responded to the site of the accident and attended to the involved individuals.
