Marin County, CA – A cyclist was severely injured after colliding with a car Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Marin County’s Woodacre area, according to the California Highway Patrol logs.
The incident was reported around 5:08 p.m., March 4, at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Railroad Avenue.
According to CHP, the cyclist collided with a gray Honda Ridgeline under unclear circumstances.
Marin County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the rider to Marin General Hospital with major injuries, including a fractured spine, ribs, and a broken right knee.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the cause of the collision.
