Topanga, CA – At least one person was injured in a four-vehicle crash on Topanga Canyon Boulevard late Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, on North Topanga Canyon Boulevard just south of Topanga School Road.

CHP reports indicate that a gray Mazda CX-5 collided with a white Nissan, a red Toyota, and a blue BMW, resulting in a four-vehicle crash that blocked the northbound lanes. Fire personnel responded to the scene and temporarily shut down lanes while assisting those involved.

Authorities confirmed that at least one person sustained minor injuries. However, arrests were reported in connection with the multi-car crash.

The cause of the multi-vehicle collision has not yet been determined, and investigators are working to establish what led to the incident.

Emergency crews, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department, responded to the scene. A tow truck was requested to remove a Mercedes SUV that sustained front-end damage.

The crash caused significant traffic delays along northbound Topanga Canyon Boulevard as emergency responders cleared the damaged vehicles and reopened the lanes.

The incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
