In 2023, Perris reported 353 victims killed or injured in fatal and injury collisions, placing the city 34th out of 103 similarly sized California cities in OTS statewide rankings. This figure reflects all crashes where people were killed or seriously injured, not minor property-damage incidents. Speed-related crashes involved 79 victims, and 38 collisions occurred at nighttime (9 pm–2:59 am), a period associated with increased risk.
