Spring Valley, CA – At least two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Spring Valley early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The collision occurred at the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and Pointe Parkway at approximately 7:28 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, CHP confirmed via incident logs.

CHP logs indicate that a white Mini Coupe and a black Volvo SUV were involved in the crash at the intersection. Initial reports describe the Mini Coupe as appearing to have sustained obvious injury concerns following impact.

At least two people were injured in the collision. Emergency medical responders transported victims to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment, according to logs; the conditions of the injured parties have not been released. No arrests have been reported in connection with the crash at this time.

The cause of the crash has not been determined and remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
