Crockett, CA – At least one person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 westbound in Crockett Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The collision occurred on I-80 westbound near the Cummings Skyway on-ramp at approximately 7:31 p.m., CHP confirmed.

Authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in the collision, which resulted in vehicles blocking lanes and at least one vehicle coming to rest on the right shoulder.

CHP logs indicated that the crash caused all westbound lanes to be blocked shortly after the incident.

CHP confirmed that at least one person sustained serious injuries. Emergency responders were requested, and at least one injured party required assistance at the scene.

No fatalities were reported, and no arrests were announced. The cause of the crash has not been determined and remains under investigation by CHP.

CHP officers responded to the scene and coordinated traffic control efforts.
