Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Police Department responded to a traffic collision that caused injuries on Interstate 10 in the city on Wednesday.
According to the authorities, the collision took place at South Wilmot Road on Wednesday, January 8.
Early reports indicate that two vehicles ran into each other on the interstate and one of them went up an embankment. The vehicle became stuck in the overpass after the accident.
The Tucson Police Department officers and fire crews responded to the scene and assisted the involved drivers.
There were reports of minor injuries in the collision. It’s unclear whether anyone had to be transported to a hospital for further medical aid.
Authorities reported that there was a large truck response as a result of the stuck vehicle.
At this time, there has been no confirmation on the contributing factors to the crash. The Tucson Police Department is investigating the accident.
