Scottsdale, AZ – A bicyclist was seriously injured following a collision with a car near an intersection in north Scottsdale on Wednesday afternoon, authorities reported.

The crash occurred near Bell Road and 94th Street, about a half-mile east of the Loop 101 (Pima) Freeway, at approximately mid-afternoon on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Scottsdale police said.

According to the preliminary information from the Scottsdale Police Department, a vehicle and a bicyclist collided in the area of Bell Road and 94th Street. The circumstances leading up to the wreck, including the direction of travel for each party, have not yet been released by the police.

The bicyclist was rushed to a local hospital with injuries that were initially believed to be life-threatening but were later downgraded to non-life-threatening. Authorities did not immediately report any other injuries or arrests in connection with the crash.
