Pedestrians are the most vulnerable of all road users. In the event of an auto-pedestrian accident, pedestrians are very likely to suffer serious injuries, including broken bones, head trauma, spinal cord injuries, and even death. Most pedestrian accidents are caused by drivers’ negligence, failure to yield to the right of way, jaywalking and crossing against a traffic signal. While pedestrian accidents are unfortunately common, it can be extremely challenging to determine the at-fault party. A pedestrian accident lawyer can help determine liability and pursue compensation on behalf of the victims or their families
