Desert Hot Springs, CA – The Riverside County Sheriff’s-Coroner has released the identity of a pedestrian who died in a crash at an intersection in Desert Hot Springs early Thursday.
The coroner identified the deceased victim as Nolasco Marc, a 51-year-old man from Desert Hot Springs.
Marc was hit by a vehicle at about 12:17 a.m. on December 11, 2025, at the intersection of Pierson Boulevard and Western Avenue.
Investigators said Marc was in the travel lane of the roadway when he was hit. The driver stopped, contacted 911, and attempted to render aid to Marc.
Marc was pronounced dead at the scene at about 12:23 a.m. the same day.

Desert Hot Springs, CA – A pedestrian was killed early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Pierson Boulevard and Western Avenue, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Officers were called to the scene just after 12:17 a.m. for a report of an injury collision.
The pedestrian was found in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver immediately stopped after the crash, called for help, and attempted to provide aid before first responders.
Early findings show no signs that alcohol or unsafe driving played a role in the crash.
