Montebello, CA.- The woman who was killed in a multi-car accident in Montebello on Wednesday night has been identified as Erika Martinez, 45, of Montebello, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The wreck took place on the Pomona (60) Freeway near Atlantic Boulevard shortly before 10:40 p.m. November 12.
CHP said a Nissan SUV and an Orange Dodge Charger were among the vehicles that crashed in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
Martinez was identified as the driver of the SUV. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The man driving the Dodge was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The eastbound lanes of the 60 Freeway were shut down for hours as authorities investigated the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
