Pickup Truck Lands on Guardrail in Cajon Pass Crash on I-15

The crash happened around 1:19 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway about two miles south of the Oak Hill Road exit.

Cajon Pass, CA. – Possible injuries were reported when a pickup truck crashed and came to rest on top of a guardrail Sunday afternoon on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 1:19 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway about two miles south of the Oak Hill Road exit.

CHP said the driver of a dark gray Toyota pickup lost control and struck the center divider, leaving the vehicle perched on the guardrail.

Possible injuries were reported in the accident.

Officials are investigating to determine what caused the driver to lose control.

The CHP Inland Office is investigating the incident.
