Glendale, AZ.- One person was killed in a car accident that occurred in Glendale on Saturday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place at around 12:20 a.m. October 4, on State Route 101 near milepost 15.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The AZDPS reported that the vehicles crashed on the southbound side of SR 101.
One unidentified party was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A section of the highway was temporarily shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
