Orange, CA.- A pedestrian died and a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a crash that happened in Orange on Sunday night, according to the Orange Police Department

The incident took place on La Veta Avenue and Devon Road at around 8 p.m. September 21

Police said that Bryan Reyes, 26, of Santa Ana, was driving eastbound on La Veta Avenue when he struck a pedestrian, who crossing the roadway outside of the crosswalk.

The victim was killed in the accident.

Reyes was arrested and booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated

The identity of the pedestrian was not immediately released

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
