Phelan, CA.– A woman was killed in a single-vehicle collision in Phelan on Saturday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Highway 138 near Rancho De La Garto Road at around 2:49 p.m. September 6.
Authorities reported that a red Chevrolet Corvette lost control on a curved section of the highway and rolled over multiple times.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle, which came to a rest on its roof nearly 100 feet off the highway.
Authorities said the driver, identified as Vickie Y. Presely, 63, of Menifee, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Additional details on the crash were not immediately released.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
