Washington County, OR – Two people were seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident in Washington County on Wednesday morning, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported at around 6:13 a.m. in the 33000 block of Johnson School Road.

Deputies reported that a 2012 Toyota Highlander was traveling eastbound on SW Johnson School Road when it tried to overtake another vehicle in a no-passing zone.

The Toyota moved into the path of oncoming vehicles and collided with a westbound motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist and a passenger in the Toyota were transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
