Bakersfield, CA.- At least one person suffered major injuries in a traffic accident in Bakersfield early Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on Westside Parkway, just east of Allen Road, shortly before 6 a.m. August 31.
According to the CHP, a white Chevy pickup truck and another vehicle were involved in the accident.
One of the drivers was found unconscious at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the accident.
