Sacramento, CA. – Two people were sent to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday afternoon on a freeway in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place about 3:53 p.m. on the eastbound 80 Freeway, just west of the 5 Freeway.
A white box truck and a black sedan were involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found two people with injuries.
One patient was taken to UC Davis Medical Center with moderate injuries, and the other victim was transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
Multiple lanes were blocked following the crash.
