San Tan Valley, AZ.- One person was killed in a crash between two vehicles in San Tan Valley on Wednesday morning, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash was reported at about 9:30 a.m. near Hunt Highway and Bella Vista Road.
It’s unclear what led up to the accident but deputies reported that two vehicles were involved.
A woman, who was not identified, was killed in the accident.
The second driver was not seriously injured.
The intersection was expected to be shut down for an unspecified duration as authorities worked at the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
