Tucson, AZ.– The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Tucson early Sunday morning has been identified as Izaah Ashley.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident took place on 22nd Street and Park Avenue at about 2 a.m. August 10.
Ashley was reportedly hit by an SUV near the intersection and the driver fled the scene.
Police reported that Ashley was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Tucson Police Department is searching for the hit-and-run motorist.
