Sacramento, CA.- The woman who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sacramento early Saturday morning has been identified as Ekaterina Yuryevna Putivtseva, 43, of Sacramento, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

The incident happened on Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard at about 2:20 a.m. August 2.

According to CHP, Putivtseva was in the crosswalk heading west when she was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Watt Avenue.

Putivtseva was pronounced deceased shortly after the accident.

The involved driver fled the scene after the crash and remains at large.

The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
