The collision took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. May 10, on Interstate 10 near the Speedway exit.
According to the report, a pedestrian was hit by a commercial vehicle in the westbound lanes of I-10.
The victim was killed in the crash.
The westbound lanes were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
