Driver Airlifted After Crash on Highway 99 and Manning Avenue in Fresno County

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 99 and Manning Avenue.

Driver Injured After Crash Involving Car Stopped in Traffic Lanes on Hwy 99 in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA. – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday evening in Fresno County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 99 and Manning Avenue.

Authorities said a Chevy Colorado pickup truck was, for an unknown reason, blacked out in the middle lane of northbound Highway 99 when it was hit by a Dodge Ram traveling in the same lane.

The driver of the Chevy was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He sustained moderate to major injuries. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and airlifted the patient to a local hospital.

The driver of the Dodge was not hurt.

CHP officers said DUI may be a possible factor in the collision.
