Desert Center, CA – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified two victims killed in a four-vehicle collision last week Friday afternoon on 10 Freeway in Desert Center as 77-year-old Dennis McDougal and Sharon McDougal, 76, both Cordova residents.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the mishap occurred at around 4 p.m. on March 21 on the westbound Interstate 10, 2.5 miles east of Red Cloud Mine Road.
Responding crews located four vehicles at the scene. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
Dennis and Sharon were rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center, where they died days later.
No additional information regarding the incident was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
