San Mateo, CA. – One person was hurt in a car accident that happened early Sunday morning in San Mateo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 1:05 a.m. on the southbound 280 Freeway under State Route 92.
A white Volkswagen Jetta and a silver Honda Civic were involved in the crash.
One person complained of pain to the chest. Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the victim.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene with major front-end damage.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
