Tucson, AZ.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Tucson on Wednesday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The incident took place in the 3500 block of South Kino Parkway.

According to the police, the pedestrian was trying to cross the roadway outside of the crosswalk when he was struck by a Dodge Charger and another vehicle.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 18-year-old driver of the Dodge reportedly left the scene after the crash but later returned.

The driver was not suspected of DUI, according to police.

The incident is under investigation.
