According to authorities, the accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. near 24th Street and Roeser Road.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which a man riding a bicycle across 24th Street collided with a car.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene.
Investigators closed 24th Street north of Roeser Road while they worked the scene.
