El Centro, CA. – Five people were hospitalized after a rollover collision that took place Sunday afternoon in El Centro, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 5:44 p.m. on northbound State Route 86 at Sunrise Drive.
A black Chevrolet Tahoe and a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 were involved in the crash. The Tahoe overturned onto its roof.
Firefighters and AMR responded to the scene and transported five passengers to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The cause of the collision was not immediately determined.
