Three people were injured in the accident and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Hospital
Whitewater, CA. – 25-year-old Kenneth Montenegro has been identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office as the man who was killed in a wrong-way crash on Friday morning in Whitewater.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 Freeway near the Whitewater Rest Area.
A driver was traveling in the wrong way and crashed into another car.
Kenneth, a resident of Palm Springs, was killed in the accident.
Three people were injured in the accident and were taken to Desert Regional Medical Hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
