Bakersfield, CA – Two people were transported to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Bakersfield Wednesday afternoon.

Two vehicles and a semi-truck were located at the crash site. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
Two people were taken to the nearby hospitals for treatment of moderate injuries.
The police said speed or driving under the influence were not considered to be factors in the mishap.

The police are investigating to determine the cause of the incident.
