Fallbrook, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in Fallbrook on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at about 9:36 a.m. January 28, near 624 East Elder Street.

The victim was hit by a Toyota in the area under unclear circumstances.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
