Update: Jake Porter ID’d as Driver Killed in Car Accident on Dehesa Road and Sloan Canyon Road in El Cajon

Three vehicles were involved in the collision. Two of the cars were reportedly traveling at high speeds when they collided and caused a third vehicle to also crash.

Jake Porter Killed in El Cajon Accident on Dehesa Road

El Cajon, CA – The San Diego County Coroner’s Office has identified a motorist killed in a car crash on Dehesa Road in El Cajon last week Monday afternoon as 18-year-old Jake Farr Porter of Alpine.

The El Cajon police responded to the incident in the 4100 block of Dehesa Road and Sloan Canyon Road at around 4:23 p.m. January 13.

Porter was driving a Nissan sedan westbound within the 4100 block of Dehesa Road when for unknown reasons, Porter apparently lost control of his vehicle prior to colliding with a Chevrolet pickup traveling eastbound on Dehesa Road.

Porter died at the scene.

More information about the mishap was not available.

The police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.

El Cajon, CA. – At least one person died in a high-speed crash that happened Monday afternoon in El Cajon, authorities reported.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 4:25 p.m. on Dehesa Road, just west of Sloan Canyon Road.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision. Two of the cars were reportedly traveling at high speeds when they collided and caused a third vehicle to also crash.

At least one person was killed in the accident.

All vehicles were towed away from the scene.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
