The driver of the eastbound car and two rear passengers were killed in the accident
Gilroy, CA. – Three people were killed in a Tuesday night car crash in Gilroy, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At around 7 p.m., authorities responded to the scene of a collision on Shore Road west of Lake Road.
A car was traveling westbound on Shore Road when the driver drifted into the opposite lane and collided with an eastbound car.
The driver of the eastbound car and two rear passengers were killed in the accident.
The right front passenger of the eastbound car suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
